Blackpink’s Lisa has been dropping edgy teasers ahead of her solo debut. If the teasers are any indication of what we are getting, Lilis and Blinks are in for one hell of a ride.
If anyone can pull off daring fashion choices, it’s Lisa. For the ritzy teaser clip shared to her official Instagram account on 31st August, fans are greeted with long haired Lisa who has been wearing them short since Blackpink’s album release in October, 2020. She is dressed casually in a graphic tank top belonging to the punk rock band, The Clash, and sequined pants with a metallic sheen from Celine’s 2021 Fall Collection. The clip is complete with dry smoke and blinding lights silhouetting Lisa like a 70s rock star.
In another teaser clip, Lisa, who is seen swinging on a chain above a body of water, is clad in a tasseled jacket glittering with rhinestones. The jacket is from Alexandre Vauthier’s 2021 Summer Collection which was heavily 70’s inspired.
However, Lisa might have been hinting at this look since Lovesick Girls was released. In the MV, she donned studded leather jacket, sequined bralette top and a T-shirt from another rock band, Black Veil Brides. As if we needed any proof that Lisa is a rock star.
More surprises are still ahead until the official LALISA Album is released. Lalisa, the album, drops on 10th September 2021 at 1 pm, KST.
