Lisa, the third of the Blackpink members to release a solo dropped the much-anticipated video of ‘Lalisa’ on 10th September. Lisa, in addition to being YG’s first foreign idol, is also among the few Thai idols in the homogenous K-pop scene. But she wears her identity with pride. For the ‘Lalisa’ music video that amassed a whopping 70.4 million views in its first 24 hours, she donned a silk ensemble custom-made by ASAVA, a home-grown label from Thailand. The regal golden brocade features patterns from the Lamphun province and is reported to be embellished with Swarovski crystals.
The design is contemporary in its silhouette and traditional in its essence.
Lisa wears it in a scene in which she is sitting on a golden throne, and once again proves that Lalisa is a queen.
